Today sees the launch of the new Integration Hub
We have just launched our new Integration Hub, a website that will provide clients and other health sector professionals with a resource to help senior leaders in the health and social care sector overcome the perceived legal, strategic and commercial barriers to integration when adopting new models of care.
The Integration Hub is an online resource, designed by DAC Beachcroft’s Health lawyers and Governance Advisory Practice to help senior leaders in the health and social care sector overcome the perceived legal, strategic and commercial barriers to integration when adopting new models of care.
The project was undertaken in response to the NHS Five Year Forward View and the programme of Vanguards and new models of care, which are major issues affecting the health and social care sector. There are many questions around the design and implementation of these new models, including how to overcome the perceived and real barriers to integrating across different organisations, and implementing new ways of working focussed on patient-centred care in a fragmented system of NHS commissioning and provision.
To tackle this issue, the Integration Hub has been designed to focus on three key areas:
- An explanation of the New Models of Care, Commissioning Integration and Devolution;
- Understanding what the common legal, strategic and regulatory barriers are to implementing these; and
- Examples of our work with other clients where practical solutions have been found.
- The launch of the Integration Hub is a first step, and we will build on this in the coming weeks, using the site as a platform for cross cluster initiatives to showcase our thought leadership in the re-design of the NHS.
Our Governance Advisory Practice can tailor solutions and support to your varying needs so as to free you from the perceived barriers to innovation and integration. For a no-commitment discussion about your plans, feel free to contact us.
